Volunteer Discount Policy

The Essendon Royals Volunteer Discount Scheme is designed to support all of our important volunteers at the club and ensure that they are provided some benefits to their vital roles at the club. This policy considers volunteer roles only at the club. In general this includes:

• Club Coaches

• Committee Members

• Volunteer Officials in Management roles

Any other roles not listed may be considered by the committee to be included under this policy.

Lead Coaches

All lead coaches at Essendon Royals qualify for membership fee discounts.

• Coaches who have a child at the club qualify for 1 child's membership fees to be waived.

• Coaches who do not have children at the club but are players themselves are entitled to have their membership fees waived.

• Coaches who share the lead role qualify for half of their child's membership fees being waived.

Assistant Coaches & Team Managers

Assistant coaches and team managers are not eligible for Volunteer Discounts unless by such decision by the committee.

Officials in Management Roles

Club officials in Manager Roles may be entitled to membership discount as determined by the committee. The following roles apply:

• Club Manager

• Apparel Manager

• Facilities Manager

• Cafe and Canteen Manager

• Club Registrar
