Attend the Essendon Royals Annual General Meeting on 12 November
The club's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Monday 12 November 2018 at our Ormond Park Club Rooms. All members of the club are invited to attend. The AGM is a meeting the club must have each year mandated by the club constitution. It is very important for all members and the club and is the time when we report on the club's general financial and social performance. It is also the time when members are open to stand for election onto the committee.
Sunday 18th March the club will hold an intra-club gala day at Cross Keys Reserve. Matches to be played between Royals teams inside and across age groups. BBQ, drinks and other food will be available on the day. It's a great chance for members to come together prior to the Easter Break and Round 1.
Sunday the 18th of February is the annual charity day to raise money for the Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. We would love to see our current members come and mix with all our past members and hear the stories of yesteryear and see some of them try and ply their skills in an old boys game. (A great laugh with the odd and very brief moment of brilliance). Besides the past players game, there will be a raffle, auction, activities for the kids and a bbq and a fun day with the extended Essendon Royal family. We look forward to seeing all our members there. Please like and join Essendon Royals Past and Present Day Players Supporting AMDF page.
AMDF seeks to be the pre-eminent source of energy and hope for the mito community. AMDF supports the mito community whilst seeking a cure. Essendon Royals members have directly been touched by Mitochondrial disease. Come to our special event supporting Luca and AMDF in February 2018.
